Join our waitlist!

Please complete the membership inquiry to be on the waitlist for the Roland Park Pool for the 2027 season.

For more information about membership, see Membership. If you’re ready to apply, fill in your information here and we’ll be in touch when you are moved from the waitlist to an offered membership. We can only offer memberships as current members decline their membership, so that means we can’t really give you an estimate as to how long you might have to wait.

For first-time memberships, there is an additional initiation fee of $750. This does not have to be paid in subsequent years as long as your membership remains active. Roland Park residents are asked to be current with their Civic League dues when joining or renewing pool membership.  Roland Park Pool offers three tiers of membership:

  • Family ($650)
    • Pool access for all family members in a household
  • Single ($400)
    • Pool access for a single head of household
  • Evening ($350)
    • Pool access for all family members in a household (Monday – Thursday after 5:00 PM)
    • No weekends or holidays

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What are some specifics regarding the current boundary?
A: The pool boundaries do not extend beyond the 21210 ZIP code, with the exception of Roland Park Plat 5 residents who might have the 21211 ZIP code.  However, note that the boundaries do not include all addresses within the 21210 ZIP code, and our boundaries do not extend East of Charles Street.

Q:  My child attends RPEMS, so are we eligible to join the pool?
A: Families zoned for RPEMS are not necessarily eligible for pool membership.

Q: Can my place of business serve as my address to apply for membership?
A: Unfortunately, no; the boundaries reference residences only.

Q: How do I know if my house is included in the pool boundaries?
A: If you are unsure, please email us at [email protected] and we will get back to you with an answer.

Q:  Why ARE there boundaries; why not open it to all?
A: The pool’s mission supports building community between neighbors. Current data supports that all socio/economic classes are represented within our current boundaries. At the threat of promoting a reputation of exclusivity, current perception is that a material percentage of members from other counties, etc. would limit the efficacy of supporting the mission.

Q: What is the history of the current boundary?
A: The pool acknowledges that the boundaries are not currently perfectly drawn and likely may never be. The boundaries of the pool have changed over time in support of including all socio/economic classes. The boundaries have remained static for over ten years, and there is no current intention to revisit the boundaries. If that changes, affected parties will be notified.
